MISSION: To provide a range of services for people 21 and over who are having difficulty attaining and sustaining adequate and secure accommodation, health status and personal autonomy and dignity
PHILOSOPHY: The Station Ltd. believes in:
The right of people to make choices in their own lives
The Right of people to dignity, respect, privacy and confidentiality
The right of people to be valued as individuals
The right of people to access services on a non discriminatory basis
The right of the community to accountable and responsive services
To minimise the harm and social problems to the individual and to the communtiy resulting from the use of drugs, homelessness, mental illness etc.
NEWS: What's happening at The Station Ltd.
In June 2009
- The Station continues to administer Flu vaccines through COMET from St Vincents medical centre
- We have recieved an LCD TV for the common room which is much appreciated by both clients and staff. The tv was provided by Dexus property group.
- We are fortunate to have the continued support of AMEX volunteers each other lunchtime and of Brett and RESIMAC who have been helping with Mondays Cooked breakfast
- Winter supplies such as sleeping bags and junpers have been provided by the Rotary Club of Darling Harbour and are currently being distributed
- Art on Tuesdays is going well with nearly enough tiles painted by clients to complete a new wall. Fresh supplies have also been purchased with some help from NSW pottery supplies
